“Proud Mother of Two Teenage Champs”
Mr. Cornell has been a tremendous influence on my two sons, on many levels.
In training, he encourages them to work hard, both by example and instruction. His character is
one that my sons try to emulate: be respectful at all times, be considerate of others, and be
proud of who you are and what you do. He makes every effort to be ringside when all of his
students are competing, which I believe is extremely motivating. Mr. Cornell’s commitment to
improving technique, increasing stamina, creating and cultivating mental toughness is absolutely
outstanding.
My sons have said, “Mr. Cornell raises the bar.” Although they train extremely hard, they enjoy
working with him and want to make him proud. His ability to pull the very best out everyone he
works with is unique, and a necessary trait for any coach.
Training with Will Cornell will improve their competition skills and their confidence. Not only
is Mr. Cornell a current world class form champion, he also officiates and is an active spectator.
This increases his vision and improves his teaching technique in ALL areas of the martial arts;
he knows what it takes to be a champion.

“Mr. Cornell - The Life Changer”
Ever once in awhile you come across someone who can truly change your life,
Mr. Cornell is one of those people for my family. My daughters have been students of his for
the past several years and recently tested for their Black Belts. We are proud of them and know
that it wouldn’t have been possible without him. It is almost like having another “parent”
around. When there is a problem with the kids he gives us guidance and I think that he talks to
and relates to them on a different level than my husband or I can. Through his instruction and
mentoring I have seen my girls grow into respectable young ladies. He has taught them valuable
life skills that they can build on as they continue to grow.
My girls have also had the honor and privilege of training with Mr. Cornell outside of regular
class. These additional lessons have made them better competitors and role models for others
in our schools. He has pushed them well beyond what I ever thought possible both physically
and mentally. Working out with him has increased their upper body and core strength, endurance
and speed. It has opened many doors for them and created several other learning opportunities.
If you are interested in becoming a competitor or are looking to improve your current competition
material, Mr. Cornell is your answer. He is patient, innovative and inspiring. His teaching
techniques are suitable for all skill and fitness levels. With your hard work and willingness
to learn and his expertise you are destine to succeed. My kids are blessed to have been exposed
to someone with such skill, knowledge and character. Yours are too, “Train with a CHAMPION”!

“The Total Package”
I would recommend Mr. Cornell for martial arts training for your child.
He has had a very positive influence on my daughter. He is an example of inner strength, focus,
leadership, kindness, and respect. He also is very knowledgable in martial arts,
as well as a top competitor. If your child trained with Mr. Cornell, I could guarantee that he/she
would quickly improve on basics, learn great new forms, and develop a winning attitude. Mr. Cornell
would give them the training and support they need to win. Oh, and did I mention that he has a
great sense of humor?

“Physical AND Mental Championship Training”
Mr. Cornell’s extensive knowledge of Shorei-Ryu, his experience with the bo,
a top ranking on the NASKA circuit and a recommendation from my daughter’s current karate school
instructor are all reasons that led me to ask Mr. Cornell to help train my daughter. One
of my daughter’s goals is to become a national champion on the NASKA circuit. Although she trains
full time at another karate school where we live, she wanted to get the additional benefits of
training with a top NASKA competitor. Training with Mr. Cornell not only teaches her what she
needs to accomplish physically, but also how to prepare mentally for competition. Along with working
on the finer points of traditional form and weapons, Mr. Cornell is very encouraging and supportive.
Mr. Cornell’s dedicated training for his goal sets an excellent example. Nothing can substitute training
and connecting with someone who has the same goal as you.
